Catastrophic Injuries Course for Athletic Trainers, Physicians, EMT and First Responders

Course Description

This two–hour course features lectures and hands–on lab to manage on–the–field injuries and equipment removal. Environmental concerns, cardiac emergencies, and latest National Athletic Trainer’s Association position statements and consensus statements on concussions and c–spine management will be reviewed.

The course presentations provide learners the intellectual environment to develop knowledge, skills and judgment concerning catastrophic injuries.

Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. and the course begins promptly at 5:30 p.m.
